UPMC Central Pennsylvania is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hepatologist to join our growing team of specialists dedicated to liver health. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice advanced hepatology in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, and autoimmune liver conditions
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, transplant teams, and other specialists across the UPMC network
• Participate in clinical research, education, and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to service line development
• Optional academic appointment through UPMC's affiliated medical schools

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology with fellowship training in Hepatology preferred
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and continuous learning
