Talent Manager, HR Manager, Employee Relations
Job Summary: The Director of Compensation is a strategic and operational leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's compensation programs. Reporting to the Vice President for Human Resources & Organizational Development or designee, this role ensures alignment with organizational goals, fosters a culture of equity and transparency, and enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes through technology and data management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in compensation or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensing Requirements: Valid driver's license
Hiring Range: $70,400 - $88,000
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Compensation certification
Job Specific Task List:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies, policies, and programs aligned with organizational objectives and market trends.
- (Essential) - Conduct competitive market analyses, evaluate salary structures, and recommend adjustments to attract and retain top talent.
- (Essential) - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding compensation practices.
- (Essential) - Design and manage incentive plans, merit pay programs, and other reward initiatives to drive employee engagement and performance.
- (Essential) - Partner with leadership to provide data-driven recommendations for executive compensation and strategic workforce planning.
- (Essential) - Collaborate with HR and organizational leaders to ensure alignment of HRIS and compensation strategies with broader HR and organizational goals.
- (Essential) - Act as a strategic advisor to the Vice President for Human Resources & Organizational Development, providing insights on market trends and best practices.
- (Essential) - Liaison to Finance, Payroll, divisional supervisors, and constituency groups on matters involving compensation.
- (Essential) - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation, HRIS, and data privacy - (Essential)
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to compensation to promote consistency and fairness.
- (Essential) - Maintain high standards of confidentiality and data security across all HR systems and processes.
