We’re looking for a motivated Service Now Developer with integration experience to join our Service Now Integration team. This role involves scripting and building ticket-exchange (eBonding) integrations between Service Now and third-party applications using Share Logic Unifi, and supporting those integrations once they are live.
Skill Set:
Service Now platform development (server-side and client-side JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer)
Share Logic Unifi (Integration Designer, integrations, messages, actions, heartbeat monitoring) eBonding / ticket-exchange integrations (Incident, Request, Change, Problem)
REST and SOAP web services (inbound and outbound), Scripted REST APIsJSON, XML and XSD / WSDLService
Now Integration Hub, Import Sets, Transform Maps and MID Server Authentication and security (OAuth 2.0, Basic, API keys, mTLS, credential management)
Protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP) and asynchronous messaging patternsITSM processes and the Service Now data model
Automated Test Framework (ATF) and integration testing
Source control, update sets / scoped apps and Dev Ops practices
Working knowledge of B2B / multi-vendor integration domain
Experience integrating with Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Salesforce or other ITSM platforms – will be an added advantage
Service
Now certifications (CSA, CAD) – will be an added advantage
Roles and Responsibilities Build and customize ticket-exchange integrations using Share Logic Unifi Integration Designer, from no-code configuration to pro-code scripting.
Develop integrations between Service Now and various end-point applications, including bi-directional sync of states, comments, work notes and attachments.
Build and unit test services and integration scripts, using stubs / mock endpoints.
Create reusable integration templates (golden images) to speed up partner and customer onboarding.
Participate in test case execution (SIT / UAT) and carry out investigation by analysing integration logs, message payloads and HTTP requests.
Monitor integration health, handle failed or stuck messages, replay transactions and resolve integration issues.
Support Unifi and Service Now upgrades by regression-testing integrations.
Maintain integration documentation and follow Service Now development best practices.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Service Now Integrations platform and must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities.
Around 2-6 years of experience in Service Now development with integration tools
Hands on technical knowledge in at least one of the following:
Service Now REST / SOAP integrations and Integration Hub Share Logic Unifi, or other eBonding / ticket-exchange integration platforms
Knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts
Knowledge of cloud-native solutions using Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Good written and verbal communication, including with external technical teams
Acts with a sense of urgency and is a problem solver.#LI-JV1
