Food Runner

Pay Rate: $10/HR + TIPS

Job Summary

The Food Runner is responsible for managing the efficient, friendly, and timely delivery of food to guests, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the dining & gaming area. They play a key role in ensuring a pleasant guest experience by delivering food from the kitchen and attending to any guest needs related to their meal or dining area cleanliness.

Job Duties
  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a smile.

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.

  • Assist guests with any condiment needs.

  • Address any guest questions about food or game play (if applicable).

  • Pre-bus tables as needed.

  • Maintain clean flooring in the dining area.

  • Accommodate special guest requests whenever possible.

  • Keep the dining area clean and free of clutter throughout the shift.

  • Wipe down all tables and chairs at the end of the shift.

  • Reset and restock all condiments on tables and in the dining area.

  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Accountabilities
  • Provide efficient food delivery from the kitchen to guests while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

  • Ensure dining area cleanliness at all times, including tables, floors, and condiments.

  • Follow company standards of excellence related to health, safety, and cleanliness.

  • Respond to guest needs promptly and accommodate requests when possible.

  • Communicate effectively with guests and staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications
  • Experience:

    No prior experience necessary.

  • Communication:
    Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the guests.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4 to 8 hours).

  • Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver items weighing up to 25 pounds.

  • Personality:
    Must be friendly, outgoing, and enjoy working with guests of all ages.

  • Certifications:

    Must maintain a valid Food Handlers certification.

  • Appearance:
    Must adhere to established appearance guidelines.
