Store Manager – Harrisburg, SD – Casey’s
Casey’s is looking for business professionals who are passionate about leading a team that serves the community with enthusiasm and pride. As a Store Manager, you will play a vital role in creating the fun and helpful store atmosphere that ensures Casey’s is here for guests, team members, and the community. Your responsibilities will cover all aspects of operating a successful Casey’s store, including team management, guest service, merchandising, loss prevention, and food preparation.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Execute Casey’s strategic initiatives, drive sales, and maintain quality and service standards within your store.
- Ensure the store is stocked, clean, and well‑presented to build strong relationships with guests and the local community.
- Hire, train, develop, and supervise new Team Members, coaching them to succeed and grow.
- Model Casey’s CARES values (Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service) and coach team members to embody them.
- Manage labor budget and staffing needs, maintaining an up‑to‑date scheduling system, posting schedules, and communicating updates.
- Oversee kitchen operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Complete daily bookwork, Store Walk, Task Lists, counts, audits, and merchandise orders; manage inventory and Direct Store Deliveries (DSD); protect company assets through audits and asset protection processes.
- Partner with the District Manager and store leadership to develop Store Action Plans that respond to key performance indicators and P&L statements.
- Attend all required job trainings and assessments, ensuring Team Members complete required trainings.
Starting pay range: $50,900 - $59,900. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate’s KSAs, experience, education, and qualifications. This position is eligible for quarterly and annual bonuses based on store and company performance. Our full salary range for this role extends beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to grow within the company.
What We’re Looking For- Transferable professional experience in a retail or service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead a team.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and drive performance to accomplish goals.
- Ownership mindset and clear communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including a minimum of one evening shift per week, every other weekend, and some holidays.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift 10–50 pounds, use repetitive motions, and reach above shoulder level.
- A background check may be required, consistent with state licensing requirements and applicable law.
