POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide profitable customized shipping solutions for customers with unique or critical shipping needs. Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Revenue Quality, Costing, Transportation and Network Engineering to secure larger LTL shipments and devise innovative solutions to match specialized needs.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years' experience in operations, logistics/transportation, or finance

Direct knowledge and understanding of line‑haul and hub systems, freight movement, lane movement and operations

Knowledge of Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and regulations, hazardous materials regulations preferred

Excellent analytical, problem solving and fact based, decision making skills

Strong financial analysis skills including forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling preferred

Proven skills in project management and process improvement

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills

Must be able to travel

Must be able to work flexible hours including nights as directed and/or needed
