Bathroom Remodeling Installers - Carpentry - Plumbing
We’re looking for experienced remodeling installers to join our team. This role focuses on installing a variety of bathroom fixtures and related materials, including bathtubs/showers, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and doors. The starting point for all installations is the warehouse in Harrison, AR.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Install bathtubs, showers, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, doors, and other materials and fixtures for bath remodeling projects.
- Ensure that all installations meet safety standards, building codes, and company quality standards.
- Measure and cut materials to fit specified spaces accurately, including confirmation of correct materials prior to beginning each project.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that installation schedules are met and that installations are completed on time.
- Inspect installed products and systems to ensure functionality and that no issues arise after installation.
- Work with clients to ensure that installations meet their expectations and address any questions or concerns.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that tools, materials, and work areas are kept clean and safe, which includes laying drop‑cloths and hauling off debris.
- Handle tools and equipment with care, ensuring proper maintenance and safety standards are adhered to.
- Assist with unloading and organizing materials and supplies at job sites.
- Provide high levels of customer service by demonstrating professionalism and a positive attitude on job sites.
- Report any issues or challenges to the project manager promptly, including delays or changes needed in installation plans.
- Other duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all client interactions, communications, and business practices.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, self‑starter attitude, and ability to manage multiple projects and clients independently.
- Reliability: meet deadlines and follow through on commitments to clients and the company.
- Experience with custom installations and fine carpentry, especially bathrooms.
- Ability to work with a variety of remodeling materials such as tile, stone, or glass.
- Basic computer skills, reliable cell phone, and ability to review remodeling contracts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in installation or construction, preferably in home remodeling.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques for bathrooms, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and fixtures.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision when measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time‑management skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions and work environments.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for construction and installation.
This is an independent contractor position. You will be responsible for your own business operations, including taxes, insurance, and other business‑related expenses. You will have the flexibility to set your own hours and work remotely, with meetings and consultations held at client locations or remotely as needed.
Work Schedule- Standard working hours:
Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional flexibility required for client meetings, events, or deadlines.
- Commission‑based pay: compensation will be based on commission from successful base plus add‑ons, with a competitive commission structure based on the size and scope of the projects sold.
- Additional incentives: performance bonuses and incentives may be offered based on install targets and achievements.
- Pay rates are determined by the scope of work for each job; an installer accepts the payment amount prior to starting the job.
Job Types: Full‑time, Contract.
