New Song Church is seeking a bi-vocational Senior Pastor who will faithfully shepherd God’s people through the preaching of the Word, pastoral care, and intentional discipleship. We are a growing, Bible-loving congregation committed to Reformed theology, elder-led congregationalism, and the joyful worship of Christ. Our next pastor will join a church that treasures expositional preaching, prioritizes prayer, and desires to see men and women transformed by the gospel.

New Song Church exists to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, forming disciples, and worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. We are a warm and welcoming congregation with a high value for biblical fidelity, shepherding care, and purposeful discipleship. Our leadership structure is elder-led congregationalism
, and we emphasize plurality, accountability, and humility in pastoral ministry.

The Senior Pastor will serve as the primary preaching and teaching elder, providing spiritual oversight and shepherding alongside the existing elders. As a bi-vocational role, the church recognizes and supports a healthy rhythm of work, rest, and pastoral duties.

• Preaching & Teaching
  • Deliver faithful, expositional sermons that clearly proclaim Christ and apply God’s Word.
  • Lead the congregation through Scripture in a way that strengthens biblical literacy and devotion.
• Shepherding & Pastoral Care
  • Provide compassionate, biblical care to members through prayer, counsel, and presence.
  • Model and cultivate a culture of humility, holiness, and spiritual growth.
  • Participate in membership care, weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other pastoral duties.
• Leadership & Oversight
  • Serve as a fellow elder, working closely with church leadership to guide vision, doctrine, mission, and membership care.
  • Help equip and raise up future leaders within the church.
• Discipleship & Equipping
  • Invest relationally in members to cultivate maturity in Christ.
  • Help develop pathways for discipleship, mentoring, and spiritual formation.

• A man of proven Christian character, meeting the biblical qualifications of elder (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Pet. 5:1-4).
• Agreement with Reformed theology and the church’s elder-led congregational convictions.
• Competent, clear expositional preacher with a heart for Christ-centered proclamation.
• Demonstrated ability to shepherd, disciple, and relate warmly to the congregation.
• Ability to work in a bi-vocational capacity
  , balancing outside employment with pastoral ministry.
• Preferably seminary-trained (MDiv or equivalent), though ministry experience may substitute.

• Humble, prayerful, steady, and approachable.
• A shepherd’s heart that values people more than platform.
• A collaborative spirit willing to labor alongside other elders.
• A commitment to long-term faithfulness over quick results.
