Technician II-- Machinist

Position Overview:

• Motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail, capable of prioritizing and completing tasks.
• High-level CNC / Manual machinist responsible for all aspects of the machine cell or improvement activities.
• Operate and set-up Manual / CNC Machinery.

• Perform operations on CNC machining centers, lathes, and other plant machinery and equipment.
• Work from blueprints and job descriptions.
• Fluent in G and M code; able to work with CAD/CAM programs such as Mastercam or Autodesk Inventor.
• Maintain records and logs as needed.
• Follow guidance from experienced production leads and perform related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma and Technical School training with 3-5 years of experience.
• Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and blueprints.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Cooperative work ethic, excellent attendance record.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
