Dishwasher Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dish machine, including arms, screens, baskets.
• Clean and polish machine, removing paper and hosing down interior.
• Check machine operation and report defects immediately.
• Manage preventive maintenance procedures.
• Wash and store all dishes, small wares, glasses in correct place.
• Pre‑soak, rack and wash silverware per procedures.
• Check water temperature during dishwashing.
• Remove trash and place in dumpster, sanitize garbage cans.
• Keep dishroom and detergent storage neat, floors dry.
• Work with Line Cooks to maintain clean kitchen area and efficient food service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by a Manager.

Able to speak and understand primary language. Stand for long periods, move from area to area. Exert fast‑paced mobility up to five hours. Bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Learn dish operating procedures. Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, loud noises.

Ensure guests have great experience. Mistakes okay as long as we correct them and learn. Communicate to manager, make guests happy. Strive for win‑win.
