Asset Protection Specialist

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to help prevent financial loss due to theft and fraud and to support safety and environmental program compliance in assigned stores. The Asset Protection Specialist uses tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring store security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and driving a shrink-elimination culture in the store.

Key duties include preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The role also requires reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carrying out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to self, colleagues, vendors, customers, and the Company.

Candidates must demonstrate integrity at all times and stay focused on store objectives while supporting asset protection and operational priorities.
