The City of Harrisonburg is seeking a dynamic Deputy Chief of Police to join the Command Staff. The Deputy Chief will report to the Chief of Police and oversee staff, policy development, program planning, fiscal management, and strategic oversight of the department.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field with 6+ years in a command-level role. Preference given to FBI National Academy or SPSC completion.
