Field Service Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified  
** Field Service Technician
** to support their team in Harrisonburg, VA. This role requires a self-starter with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively while delivering high-quality technical support. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently while maintaining accurate documentation and delivering timely resolutions.

** Duties and Responsibilities**  **:*
* + Travel within a 25 to 100+ mile radius daily along a designated route

+ Support IT and data-related issues, performing triage, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions

+ Troubleshoot hardware and software across various operating systems (Windows OS, macOS, Linux/Unix)

+ Install, diagnose, and repair POS systems, PCs, printers, thin clients, servers, and network switches

+ Understand AC/DC and backup power concepts

+ Work at heights of 20 to 25 ft when required (lift equipment training provided)

+ Perform copper and fiber cabling, including terminating connectors

+ Document all work performed, close tickets daily, and provide detailed notes and updates

+ Maintain excellent time management and complete tasks ahead of schedule when possible

+ Lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs. as needed

** Wage Range** :

The rate for this position is between  **$18.00 - $24.00 per hour.
** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
