Experience Required:3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting network and server infrastructure in a business environment
Minimum Education Requirements:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Direct Supervisor:Director of Technology
Primary Work Location: Office setting
Physical requirements: This is sedentary and operative work requiring the exertion of up to and exceeding 50 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
Certifications (preferred):
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent experience
- Juniper JNCIA or similar
- Microsoft Certified:
Windows Server Administrator or MCSA equivalent
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Network & Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience managing Cisco IOS, Cisco Meraki, and Juniper networking equipment, along with strong skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Hyper-V environments. This role is a blend of network management, systems administration, and user support — ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Essential Job Functions
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential duties:
- Design, configure, and maintain Cisco and Meraki network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless APs, and security appliances
- Support and administer Cisco Meraki networks (wireless, switching, and security appliances) through the Meraki Dashboard
- Manage and maintain Juniper routers and switches, including configuration, updates, and monitoring
- Implement and support VPNs, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and network segmentation for security and efficiency
- Monitor and optimize network performance using tools such as PRTG, Solar Winds, or Meraki Insights
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration files, and inventory records
- Implement cybersecurity best practices across network, server, and virtualization systems.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services
- Administer Active Directory and Group Policy to manage users, devices, and permissions.
- Manage Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environments — create, maintain, and back up virtual machines
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and backup/disaster recovery operations
- Administer SAN/NAS storage platforms, including provisioning LUNs, monitoring performance, and planning capacity
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated network and server-related issues
- Work closely with help desk and IT leadership to maintain uptime and support daily operations
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers on equipment, licensing, and connectivity issues
- Participate in IT projects, including network enhancements, security initiatives, and system modernization
- Assist with server and network upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts

- Cisco IOS configuration and troubleshooting

- Windows Server management (2016/2019/2022)
- Active Directory and Group Policy administration
