Description

We are seeking a student with strong customer service and sales skills to generate new advertising revenue for The Breeze, JMU’s student‑run news organization. The successful candidate will interact with a variety of advertising clients, build relationships, and collaborate with the media team on creative campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Use customer service and sales skills to bring about new sales opportunities for the organization and maintain relationships with current clientele.
  • Work as a collaborative team member to support The Breeze’s advertising initiatives.
  • Identify new advertising prospects and develop proposals to expand revenue.
  • Maintain regular communication with advertising clients to ensure satisfaction and renew contracts.
Qualifications
  • Sales and marketing experience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to direct creative projects.
  • Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented.
Conditions of Employment

Students must be degree‑seeking students, enrolled on at least a half‑time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
