Manager, Nursing and Patient Care Services - NICU

Overview

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Clinical Manager, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position will lead obstetrics and neonatal care with an emphasis on intermediate care nursery.

Bachelors Degree – Nursing (required)

Master’s Degree – Nursing (Preferred)

Registered Nurse License (Required)

• 3 years of acute care experience
• 1 year of Nurse Management experience
• NICU experience

• Supervises patient care services staff, ensures excellent patient safety and quality outcomes as well as extraordinary patient/family experience.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable team.
• Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills to achieve unit and corporate goals.
• Assists in the development and monitoring of unit budget, coordinates purchasing and payroll processes and serves as a clinical resource to team members.
