Shift

Multiple shifts available. PRN Night Shift only. Requires a minimum of 48 scheduled night shift hours per month and at least one 12-hour weekend shift per month. Requires availability to work at 2 of the 3 Hospitals below. Minimum 48 scheduled night shift hours per month, 12-hour weekend shift per month.

Overview

Sentara Hospital Support Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to work for the Regional Resource Pool covering Woodbridge, Charlottesville, or Harrisonburg. Sentara RN Regional Resource Pool:
Schedule Control & Premium Pay. Develop stronger, diverse clinical skills. This position is PRN, Night Shift. Requires minimum 18 months recent ED RN experience. Premium differential pay, flexible self scheduling. Work up to full-time hours if desired, only required to provide availability no more than two weeks in advance.

Hospital Availability
  • Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center – Woodbridge, VA
  • Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital – Charlottesville, VA
  • Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital – Harrisonburg, VA
Residency Requirement
  • Must reside within 75 miles of two of the three hospitals listed above.
Responsibilities

The RN is responsible for performing competent nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process and standards of practice and professional performance.

Education
  • Registered Nurse Diploma (Required)
Certification / Licensure
  • Active Registered Nurse License (Required)
Experience
  • Minimum 18 months recent ED RN experience (Required)
