Licensed Practical Nurse - Hospice Overview

Sentara Health is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sentara Hospice Services in Harrisonburg, VA. This full‑time role supports patients in a hospice setting, providing direct, one‑on‑one care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

  Third (Nights) 12:00 am – 8:00 am, Sunday – Thursday

• Pay Range: $22.39 – $37.32 per hour

As an LPN in a home health care setting, you will:

• Provide direct, one‑on‑one patient care, monitoring health status and administering treatments.
• Manage medications and administer nursing interventions and care plans.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and family to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care.
• Advocate for patients, educate families, and support a holistic approach to patient well‑being.

• Trade School Graduate (Required)
• LPN License – Active in Virginia (Required)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire (Required)
