Job DutiesThe Virginia Museum of the Civil War at the New Market Battlefield State Historical Park (Shenandoah County), is accepting applications for part-time Weekend Visitor Services Technicians. Duties include orienting visitors, operating a cash register/credit card terminal and customer service.
Hours:
8:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Hours worked as needed by management, weekend work required.
- Requires interest in history & strong communications skills
- Enthusiasm for working with the public
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with the POS system
- Neat business like appearance
- Experience in retail sales
- Poise, reliability & friendly, professional manner
- Proven experience with customer service
