• Physical Requirements: This is operative work requiring the exertion of up to and exceeding 50 pounds of force frequently and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Certification: Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Flagger Certification; ability to obtain CDL-B within 6 months

To assist with the installation and maintenance of water and sewer lines, along with water meters.

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of water meters, along with water and sewer lines by implementing instructions of supervisor safely, correctly, and efficiently to include, but not be limited to: digging trenches, fitting pipes and valves, and using acceptable traffic control techniques.
• Obtain water meter readings by locating, reading, and accurately recording meter readings, as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in the maintenance of County property as may be required, to include, but not be limited to snow removal both by hand and with equipment.
• Ability to be courteous and helpful to customers and relay appropriate and pertinent information, as required.
• Abide by VOSH and OSHA safety requirements.
• Perform related tasks as required.
