Chemical Engineer

This mid-level Chemical Engineer opening is for someone who treats PostgreSQL documentation as a first draft they intend to improve. The center of gravity here is ownership — $75,000 - $108,000 and an internship schedule orbit it, and 3 years gets you in the door.

• Wire up PostgreSQL feature flags so Digital Bridge can test on Harrisonburg traffic risk-free
• Apply C# and Process Improvement to solve maker-minded engineering challenges
• Write clean, well-tested code that scales with Digital Bridge's growing user base
• Build the supportive Selenium feature that wins back the VA accounts Digital Bridge lost
• Document the .NET Core system so the next mid-level engineer onboards in days, not weeks
• Read the .NET Core stack traces others skim past, and trace bugs to their root

• Demonstrated capacity to mentor or support mid-level teammates
• Calm under the mission-soaked chaos a mid-level role tends to generate
• The kind of curiosity that reads the docs before asking
• A keen eye for quality and consistency in your output

There's a reason technology leaders keep calling Digital Bridge: this quality-obsessed Harrisonburg, VA team simply refuses to ship anything mediocre. We keep our process light so engineers can spend their energy on Express.js and .NET Core, not bureaucracy.

This position offers $75,000 - $108,000, comprehensive benefits, and genuine room to advance into leadership within technology.
