EMS bus drivers are required to have a VA Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement with air brakes. EMS can facilitate interested drivers in acquiring this required licensure. This is a part-time employment position that does not include benefits.
Bus drivers, unless operating a daily route, provide driving services for class field trips and transporting athletic teams to/from away games. This is a part-time employment position that does not include benefits. Approved drivers become part of a call list and have the freedom to accept or decline driving opportunities.
Bus drivers are expected to have and maintain a clear driving record and follow the driving guidelines for school drivers.
