This position oversees all aspects of operating a successful Casey’s store, including team management, guest service, merchandising, loss prevention, and food preparation. - Execute Casey’s strategic initiatives, drive sales, and maintain quality and service standards.
- Ensure the store is stocked and clean to build strong relationships with guests and communities.
- Hire, train, develop, and supervise new team members—acting as a coach and mentor.
- Model and coach to Casey’s CARES values (Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service).
- Manage the labor budget and staffing needs, keeping the scheduling system current and communicating updates.
- Oversee kitchen operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Ensure completion of daily bookwork, store walk, task lists, counts, audits, and merchandise orders; manage inventory and direct store deliveries (DSD).
- Protect company assets with asset‑protection processes and audits.
- Partner with the District Manager and leadership team to develop store action plans that respond to key performance indicators and P&L statements.
- Attend and complete all job trainings and assessments, including Serv Safe Food Protection Manager where applicable, and ensure team members complete required trainings.
Starting pay range: $50,900 – $59,900. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of your knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity.
This position is eligible for quarterly and annual bonuses based on store and company performance. Our full salary range for this role extends beyond the hiring range, providing opportunities to grow within the company.
What We’re Looking For- Transferrable professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead a team (preferred)
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and drive performance to achieve goals
- Ownership mindset
- Clear communication skills
- Flexibility to take calls as needed and work varied hours, including at least one evening shift per week, every other weekend, and some holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift 10–50 pounds, use repetitive wrist, hand, finger motions, and reach above shoulder level
- Background check may be required per state licensing requirements and applicable law
