Electrical Engineer (Test Engineer) Job Description

The ICT Test Engineer serves as a key technical leader responsible for defining and executing test strategy, design, development, and continuous improvement efforts focused on In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all electronic sub-assemblies meet stringent quality, reliability, and customer requirements through the deployment of robust ICT equipment, processes, and methodologies.

• Design, develop, and validate automated In‑Circuit test systems for electronic assemblies and finished products.
• Create test procedures, test fixtures, and software to support production requirements.
• Implement Design for Test (DFT) strategies in collaboration with product development teams.
• Ensure Test coverage requirements align with design specifications and customer expectations.

• Proficiency in in‑circuit test and ICT test engineering.
• Experience with C#, Keysight 3070, and ICT Test Platforms.
• Strong skills in circuit design and debugging.
• Ability to program from scratch, and knowledge of electronics, validation, and scripting.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and C programming.

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Engineering (CE).
• 5+ years of ICT Test Engineering experience in an electronic manufacturer or automotive environment.
• 3+ years of programming/development experience with Python, C++, C#, or .NET.
• Expertise in ICT platforms such as Keysight 3070 and Teradyne Test Station.

This position is onsite in Harrodsburg, KY. The manufacturing facility is climate‑controlled and clean‑room equipped. The role involves spending approximately 40% of the time on the floor in a fast‑paced work environment. The team consists of five members, including one engineer and the rest technicians. Employees receive 6 paid holidays and 10 PTO days to be used over 12 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrodsburg, KY.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 – $60.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Harrodsburg, KY.
