This is a desktop support role for a large-scale Windows 10 to 11 migration and new device rollout. This is a 9-week onsite project where you will work independently, supporting end users across multiple business functions and ensuring a seamless upgrade experience.
Base pay range$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to assist with a large-scale Windows 10 to 11 migration and new device rollout. This is a 9-week onsite project where you will work independently, supporting end users across multiple business functions and ensuring a seamless upgrade experience.
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $30–35/hr W2
What You’ll Do- Perform laptop and desktop deployments, swapping out older equipment with new machines.
- Support Windows 10 to 11 migration, including setup, configuration, and validation.
- Provide direct end-user support for HR, sales, marketing, and administrative teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating as necessary.
- Ensure professional, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery.
- 3+ years of hands-on desktop support or IT field services experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
- Experience with laptop/desktop imaging, deployments, and migrations.
- Ability to work independently and professionally in an onsite environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
