Accounts Payable

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team on a 10‑month fixed‑term contract, providing maternity leave and holiday cover. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least one year's Accounts Payable experience who is keen to expand their finance skills within a supportive and collaborative working environment.

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and investigating any discrepancies
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Responding to supplier queries and building strong working relationships
• Preparing payment runs and ensuring all payments are processed within deadlines
• Supporting month‑end Accounts Payable activities
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks when required

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
  
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
• A positive, proactive approach to your work

• Salary of up to £25,000 per annum
