Assistant Management Accountant

Robert Half is delighted to be working on behalf of a growing small enterprise in Harrogate to recruit an Assistant Accountant for a newly created position.

Following a highly successful period of growth, this business has achieved double-digit growth year on year and is now looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of a hands-on and ambitious Assistant Accountant. Reporting into senior finance, the successful candidate will support across a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Accruals and prepayments
• Bank reconciliations
• Trial balance work
• Supporting with month-end processes
• Assisting with management accounts preparation, with increasing involvement as confidence grows

This role would ideally suit an AAT qualified candidate, although those who are qualified by experience (QBE) will also be considered. It would particularly appeal to someone who enjoys working in a collaborative smaller business environment and is keen to take on a varied role with plenty of scope to develop.
