Semi Senior Accountant Opportunity in Harrogate
A well-established chartered accountancy practice in Harrogate is offering an excellent opportunity for an Accountant early in their career.
The role is ideally suited to someone with 2+ years' experience in practice, who can work closely with Senior staff whilst also providing some support to others in the team.
The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across multiple service lines including Accounts, Tax, Audit.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for a variety of SME clients
 
* Supporting the audit team with statutory audit assignments
 
* Preparing and submitting VAT Returns
 
* Assisting with bookkeeping and financial record maintenance
 
* Supporting payroll processing for a range of clients
 
* Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance work
 
* Learning core accounting and compliance processes across general practice
 
* Working closely with senior team members on client assignments
 
* Building technical knowledge while progressing through professional qualifications
 
* Supporting wider practice administration and client service delivery
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should ideally possess:
 
* 2+ years' of experience within an accountancy practice
 
* AAT/ACA/ACCA studier - support can be provided
 
* Positive and proactive attitude toward professional development
 
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting more junior members
