Assistant Accountant

My client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant ideally with Practice experience (although not essential).

• Year-end accounts preparation in readiness for client meetings.
• Managing a portfolio of clients using Xero, Quickbooks and Sage to produce accurate accounts information.
• Working from the office and at client premises as needed.
• Producing accurate client management accounts in line with their agreed frequency.
• Reviewing clients records prior to completing and submitting VAT returns.
• Supporting clients with managing their bookkeeping on ad hoc basis.
• Communication with clients via telephone and email.
• Ensuring compliance with local CCF systems and procedures.

• Salary of £22,000 - £25,000 depending on skill set (may be negotiable)
