Up to £38,000 - £42,000 (flexible DOE) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice with multiple offices across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a supportive and progressive firm offering genuine career development and exposure to a varied client portfolio.

The Role You'll manage your own portfolio of clients, providing a high-quality service across accounts, tax and advisory work while supporting the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of owner-managed business clients. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and management accounts. Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns, partnership accounts and VAT returns. Liaising directly with clients, business owners and directors. Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team. Assisting with advisory work, forecasts and business projections where required. About You We're looking for someone who is: ACA or ACCA qualified (or a finalist with strong practice experience).

Experienced within an accountancy practice, ideally at Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager level. Confident managing their own client portfolio. Proactive, organised and client-focused. Familiar with accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero or Quick Books. What's on Offer? Competitive salary depending on experience. Flexible working around core office hours.
