Job Summary

Part‑time branch‑based opportunity. You will work 28 hours per week – including Saturdays – across Lloyds and Halifax branches near Harrogate.

Harrogate (within reasonable distance of Lloyds and Halifax branches)

Hours:

28 hours per week, including Saturdays; part‑time.

Salary: £20,960, increasing to £21,560 after six months.

End Date:
Friday 3 July 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Provide face‑to‑face customer support in selected branches.
  • Handle everyday banking tasks and offer reassurance, guidance, and practical support during important moments (e.g., bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable customers, digital banking confidence).
  • Promote and support digital services, helping customers use online and mobile banking independently.
  • Recognise and act on opportunities to connect customers with the right products and services.
  • Deliver on promises, go above and beyond for customers, and collaborate closely with colleagues to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 months of customer service experience.
  • People skills: honest, genuine, caring about helping people with their finances (no prior financial services experience required).
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and deliver a fantastic customer experience.
  • Empathy, integrity, and a commitment to resolving queries and building customer confidence.
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Teamwork skills, collaborating closely with colleagues.

Spend a minimum of 12 months in a customer service role, mastering new skills, dealing with complex customer needs, and earning valuable accreditations through our Skill Progression Framework.
