Operating in a third-person capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the academic progress of students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the exciting potential to teach advanced Key Stage 5 classes depending on experience.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Curriculum Familiarity: Thorough understanding of the UK National Curriculum, including GCSE and ideally A-Level physics syllabi.
• Eligibility to Work: Valid legal entitlement to work full-time in the UK.

• Cross-Curricular Innovation: Capability to link physics concepts to other disciplines, such as the thermal physics and fluid dynamics found in Food Technology.
• Data-Driven Assessment: Proficiency in monitoring student data to target interventions and boost academic progress.

• Lesson Planning: Prepare and deliver well-structured, stimulating physics lessons appropriate to all student abilities.
• Student Monitoring: Assess, record, and track the academic progress of pupils in line with faculty guidelines.
• Laboratory Safety: Enforce strict health and safety protocols during all practical physics experiments and demonstrations.
• Curriculum Alignment: Ensure all educational content satisfies exam board and national curriculum requirements.
• Parental Engagement: Provide high-quality, constructive, and targeted feedback during parent's evenings and in formal reports.
