St Aidan’s Church of England High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate, and committed Teacher of History to join its high‑performing Humanities faculty on a maternity cover basis, starting in November 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring classroom practitioner to teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a thriving and popular faculty recognised for its strong outcomes and commitment to excellence. Opportunities include dedicated ECT support where appropriate, in‑school training, external middle leadership pathways, online learning platforms, Trust‑wide development through the Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust, and access to the Leeds for Learning partnership. You will have the opportunity to teach motivated students in a school that invests in its staff and celebrates both academic excellence and personal growth.
