Teacher of MFL

About the role:

justteachers are working with a welcoming secondary school in Harrogate who are seeking a passionate Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join their team from September. French is essential, and the ability to offer Spanish is highly desirable. This is a long term supply role offered until Christmas in the first instance.

• Deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4 (Spanish teaching would be an advantage).
• Plan and adapt engaging schemes of work, ensuring progress for learners of all abilities.
• Use effective assessment to inform teaching and provide clear feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment with strong behaviour management.
• Work collaboratively within the MFL department and contribute to enrichment where appropriate.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs are welcome to apply).
• Experience in a UK Secondary school
• Ability to teach French confidently;
  Spanish is desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering inspiring language lessons.
• Excellent classroom practice with high expectations for all pupils.
