About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our thriving educational team in Kingston, London. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction, foster an inclusive learning environment, and support the academic and personal development of students across key curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and school standards.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to design and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development initiatives.
  • Uphold school policies, safeguarding procedures, and promote a safe, respectful classroom culture.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a valid teaching licence.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a mainstream or SEND setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
