Milk Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist education provider for a part-time GCSE English Teacher to join their team from September
.

You’ll be teaching small classes of just six students
, supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver meaningful, personalised learning in a supportive environment where you can have a real impact.

• 2–3 days per week
• Working hours:
  
  8:30am – 4:00pm
• Maximum of 6 students per class
• Dedicated paid break each day
• Parents’ evenings held during working hours – no evening commitments
• Supportive and collaborative team
• Based across sites in the Harrogate area

• Deliver engaging GCSE English lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Support students with a range of SEN
  , including SEMH
  .
• Build positive relationships that help pupils grow in confidence, resilience, and academic achievement.
• Work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes for every learner.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching GCSE English.
• A passion for supporting students with additional needs.
• A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching.
