Junior Hardware Engineer

Job Advert

To assist with the design and development of new products and to support our existing product line.

• Design and review of electronic hardware (schematics, PCBs, cable looms, drawings, etc.) using appropriate CAE tools to ensure it complies with specified requirements.
• Produce and test circuits both in theory and practice as part of a test solution and development process.
• Contribute to estimates of workload and to the solutions to technical problems.
• Contribute to writing design and functional specifications.
• Communicate effectively, in speech and writing.
• Build effective working relationships with the team and with other key stakeholders based on mutual trust and respect that ensure the resolution of problems locally.
• Help create a positive, enthusiastic, supportive working environment.

• The ability to use industry standard CAD tools (e.g. Kicad, Alibre).
• The ability to provide technical input to hardware related challenges, test solutions, option selection, requirements analysis.
• The ability to select components and services based on price and availability.
• A hands on approach and participation to the testing of products/systems.
• The ability to learn and adapt.
