The Opportunity
As a Structural Technician, you will work closely with structural engineers and the wider design team to produce detailed drawings and BIM models for a variety of building projects.
You will be responsible for:

· Producing detailed structural drawings and models using Revit.

· Preparing general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details and construction information.

· Developing and maintaining BIM models throughout the design process.

· Assisting with the coordination of structural information with architects and other consultants.

· Producing accurate technical drawings in line with project specifications and UK standards.

· Updating and revising drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

· Supporting engineers with technical detailing and project delivery.

· Ensuring all drawings are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
 
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this Structural Technician role, you should have:

· Previous experience working as a Structural Technician within a consultancy environment.

· Strong proficiency using Revit for structural projects.

· Experience using AutoCAD.

· A good understanding of structural detailing for a variety of building materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.

· Knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and industry standards.

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

· A proactive approach and willingness to continue developing your technical expertise.
 
Salary & Benefits

· Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per year dependent on experience.
