Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger

An established and growing business in Harrogate is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team.

Youll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring that transactions are processed efficiently

• Process purchase invoices accurately and promptly
• Create and process payment runs
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Calculate and organise refunds
• Maintain transactional ledgers, resolving outstanding issues
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Run aged debtors and aged creditors reports
• Support the finance managers and management accountants in resolving queries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Purchase ledger experience is essential
• Excellent attention to detail and high data accuracy
• Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues
• Good Excel skills and overall IT literacy

• Flexible working hours (core hours 10am4pm), working day can be between 8am-6pm
