An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and experienced Financial Controller. A manufacturing background would be highly beneficial to fully understand the processes and demands of the role.

Benefits

£65,000 - £80,000 (dependent on relevant experience), generous car allowance, private healthcare, pension plan with life assurance, company bonus scheme, some hybrid options negotiable.

Role
  • Key role in a successful manufacturer with dual reporting line into both UK and US.
  • Responsible for financial compliance and reporting to tight deadlines.
  • Lead the completion of monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close and consolidation procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Use effective leadership and communication skills to manage the monthly budget and forecasting to include the EU and one other international site.
  • Work with a business partnering approach across all divisions and work cross‑functionally with operations and commercial teams.
Candidate
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Financial Controller; manufacturing background and international exposure highly beneficial.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, with sound leadership skills and the ability to liaise successfully across a business including European and international hubs.
  • Enjoys challenge and has demonstrable experience in meeting tight deadlines with accuracy, ensuring the finance team also achieves deadlines.
  • Good project management, analytical and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to form excellent working relationships with both finance and non‑finance colleagues.
  • Given management responsibilities, ideally will be present in the office 5 days, although some hybrid options may be negotiable.
