Salary/Wage Range or Industry Benchmark: 50000 GBP Yearly GBP 50000.00 YEAR

Our client is a well established and privately owned group of businesses with a diverse portfolio in the property industry. They are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support financial reporting, improve processes and help develop the wider finance team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a varied position offering the opportunity to take ownership of monthly management accounts, lead process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
Produce financial analysis and management information to support business decisions.
Mentor and support junior members of the finance team, providing guidance and development.
Review and improve existing finance processes to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
Work with Sage 50, identifying opportunities to enhance the system and improve reporting capabilities.
Calculate and maintain service charge budgets, reconciliations and year-end statements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
Support the year-end audit process and statutory reporting requirements.
Undertake ad hoc projects as the finance function continues to evolve.

Candidate Profile
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience.
Previous experience producing full management accounts.
Strong understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting.
Experience supervising or mentoring finance staff would be advantageous.
Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to challenge existing processes.

Salary & Benefits
£45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
Full-time, permanent position offering a 35 hour work week.
Office-based with 1 wfh day per week
On-site parking.
