Assistant Accountant, Harrogate, £30,000 - £34,000, Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next opportunity? We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in the heart of Harrogate, who are looking to appoint an organised and detail-focused Assistant Accountant to join their friendly finance team.
Reporting directly to the Finance Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function while contributing to the ongoing development of financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily banking and cash reconciliations.
- Supporting month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, journals and financial reporting.
- Managing the sales and purchase ledger and allocating customer payments.
- Assisting with the continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls.
- Providing general support to the wider finance team as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
