Salary - £30,000 to £55,000 DOE
Service Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting for a Speech & Language Therapist (Neurodevelopmental) on behalf of a leading independent provider of autism and ADHD assessments across the UK.
This innovative service delivers high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults through both NHS-funded and private pathways. Through Service Care Solutions, you'll join a passionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and improving long-term outcomes for families.
The organisation is committed to clinical excellence and clinician wellbeing, equipping staff with cutting‑edge digital systems, smart report‑writing tools and in‑house IT support to reduce administrative burden and enhance clinical impact.
Responsibilities- Conduct face‑to‑face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
- Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom
- Participate in collaborative MDT diagnostic discussions (with senior support where required)
- Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families
- Produce accurate, high‑quality diagnostic reports using smart report‑writing tools
- Meet service KPIs through effective caseload management
- Provide clinical supervision where applicable
- Travel to clinic bases for in‑person assessments (hybrid roles)
- Minimum 1 year's professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England
- HCPC
- Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist - NMC
- Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children's Nurse - GMC
- Medical Practitioners - Social Work England
- Social Worker - At least 1 year's experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments in CYP
- Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
- In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD
- Experience using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
