Housekeeper (Bank) – The Duchy Hospital – Harrogate

Salary:
Up to £12.79 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the hotel services department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

• Undertake the day‑to‑day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (including Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
