Administration Team Lead| Full time, Permanent| Harrogate| New clinic | Excellent benefits and competitive salary

The Spire Harrogate Clinic is looking for an Administration Team Lead to join us on a permanent full time basis. We are looking for you to be a strong part of our team, being involved in daily administration tasks as well as managing a small team. We are looking for you to bring drive and energy with a real interest in developing the admin function in our new clinic, looking at smoothing out and creating new processes that will support our patients and staff.

The clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals. The clinical specialties include ophthalmology, dermatology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and a private GP service.

This is a full time permanent position and will work a shift pattern that will include 8:00am - 16:00pm or 12pm - 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 2pm on a Saturday

Duties and responsibilities

Working varied reception and admissions shifts in a hands-on capacity, supporting and overseeing the team
Managing time cards, sickness, annual leave, and other absence whilst ensuring optimum cover at all times.
Preparation of rotas, flexing staff in line with business requirements and within budgetary targets.
Setting annual EE objectives for each team member, holding and documenting regular 1:1 meetings as well as team briefs
Achieving KPI targets
To carry out departmental audits and ensure compliance, including DSE, Health and safety and staff mandatory training.
To represent the department at various meetings, including Patient Experience, Infection control and process meeting, driving improvements and implementing change
To try to resolve any patient complaints relating to the reception service in the first instance or to escalate via the appropriate channel. The Ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in a leadership position in a highly customer service/administration position

Experience of absence and performance management through the application of 121s, annual appraisals and corporate policy.
Willing to be part of the team, rolling sleeves up and doing the do as well as management duties
Able to demonstrate the clinic values of;
Teamwork, Positivity, Professionalism and Kindness.
Reliable and trusted to complete work in a timely manner and able to instil that work ethic in others.
Enjoys having oversight of administrative workflows and able to step in and contribute as part of the team when required.
