HSE Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone enthusiastic, dedicated and self-motivated to join us as a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor on a permanent basis.

Based at our Plumpton Park site in Harrogate, this role supports the delivery of HSE policy, procedure and plans across Bettys & Taylors Group to ensure that we maintain the highest health and safety standards.

This is a full-time role working
37.5over 5 days. This role can accommodate hybrid working and flexible hours. Collaborating in-person with your peers 3 days per week would normally be expected. If you would like to discuss flexible working, please provide more details in your application.

• Working knowledge and experience of H&S issues.
• Experience of providing health and safety advice, ideally within manufacturing, food or facilities environment, and be able to demonstrate how they have helped to reduce risk and improve performance.
• A relevant H&S qualification e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH etc., and preferably membership of IOSH and be working towards chartered status.
• Some experience of environmental issues, although this is not essential.
• Experience of cross functional team working.
• Managed relationships as a business partner.

• A passion for the health, safety and welfare of employees.
• A good standard of education and strong IT skills.
• Excellent customer service and organisation skills, and impressive attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively in a team and to lead by example.
• A commitment to continued personal development, and to advancing and honing your expertise by keeping up-to-date with changes in health and safety laws and legislation.
• A Full UK Driving Licence as you must be able to travel to all our sites
