What We Are Looking For

As one of the longest-standing SEO agencies in the North, we strive to deliver creative and effective SEO solutions. We are looking for someone who is passionate, intelligent, creative, and inquisitive to join our exceptional team.

You’ll have a fundamental role within our technical SEO team, helping to develop and implement tailored SEO strategies that help our clients achieve their objectives. Our hands‑on approach means you will work across multiple accounts, using various platforms and systems, whilst collaborating and supporting our talented SEO team. Reporting to the Head of SEO, you’ll also learn about our omni‑channel approach through working alongside our other departments, including Paid, Content, Social Media, Analytics and Senior Management.

What You'll Do
  • Apply technical SEO strategies to a wide client base, ensuring optimum site health, amplifying search appearance and using our range of SEO tools to identify and proactively prevent issues from arising, whilst actively seeking optimisations that will improve performance
  • Utilise multiple platforms such as Screaming Frog, Page Speed Insights, Search Console, Semrush, Moz, and Ahrefs to effectively implement optimisation tasks based on our client's objectives and targeting
  • Monitor, understand and offer advice on changes and developments in the search and digital marketing landscape, to ensure Zelst and its clients are always ahead of the game
  • Offer insight and strategic amendments based on industry updates, as well as effectively communicating your time allocation, prioritisation of tasks across a host of client sites
  • Collaborate on website migrations, ensure SEO best practices are followed, identify and mitigate risks and fix any problems encountered
  • Work alongside the team to build domain authority through strategic link-building and outreach campaigns, auditing backlinks and finding opportunities for growth
  • Enhance work using insights into the performance of previously employed strategies and their impact on the client's visibility and performance using platforms such as Google Search Console and GA4
  • Collaborate and engage in team training sessions, including providing training to other team members, as well as continuously upskilling based on internal feedback
  • Accurately complete timesheets and embrace software tools to deliver high-quality work
  • Adapt to other tasks as needed to support the agency’s growth
