An exciting opportunity has arisen with a highly respected and long-established insurance brokerage in Harrogate. Known for delivering tailored insurance solutions and exceptional client service, this firm is seeking a confident, client-focused Commercial Broker to join their growing team. You'll play a central role in maintaining and developing strong client relationships, advising on a broad range of commercial risks, and supporting new business acquisition across a diverse portfolio.

- Manage a varied portfolio of commercial clients across sectors including property, retail, construction, manufacturing, and more.
- Provide expert advice on a range of commercial insurance products including Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, PI, and D&O.
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, new business quotations, and placement with insurers.
- Liaise with underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and cover.
- Support Account Executives with pre-renewal preparation and new business development.
- Ensure compliance with FCA and internal policies at all times.
- Identify opportunities for up-selling, cross-selling, and adding value to clients.
- Proven experience in commercial broking (minimum 23 years).
- Solid knowledge of the commercial insurance market and products.
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high standard of accuracy in documentation.
- Comfortable negotiating with insurers and confident in decision-making.
- Cert CII or working towards is highly desirable.
