The Accounts Manager Role As an Accounts Manager, you'll take the lead on managing workflow, reviewing statutory accounts, and supporting a talented team of accounts professionals. You'll work closely with the Partners and play a key role in:
Reviewing work prepared by the accounts team and ensuring technical accuracy Managing workflow, WIP, billing , and budgets Preparing and reviewing more complex financial statements (FRS 102 and IFRS) Supporting the firm's transition to new software (currently IRIS, moving to a cloud-based software) Coaching and mentoring more junior team members This position will suit an ambitious Assistant Manager or Senior Accountant looking for their first management role.
What You'll Need ACA or ACCA qualified Strong experience in accounts preparation and review within practice Solid working knowledge of FRS 102 and ideally some IFRS Confident managing client relationships and junior staff A proactive, personable attitude - someone who thrives in a sociable, high-performing team Someone looking to step into management, as a Junior Manager, given the firm's current team structure and growth plans What's on Offer Salary : £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) Bonus :
