Ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout the product lifecycle, from contract review through manufacture, testing, delivery, and aftermarket support.
Lead customer quality interactions, including audits, witness testing, concession requests, and quality performance reviews.
Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and support critical supplier audits.
Ensure robust traceability of materials, components, and manufacturing records for subsea products.
Implement, maintain, manage and improve all aspects of the Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards (ISO 9001 and API-Q1 where applicable)
Manage all aspects of internal and external audits
Management Representative for the Quality Management System
Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products
Lead quality team in investigations of non-conformances and customer issues
Responsible for collecting quality data, data analysis, root cause analysis, reporting and continuous improvements in products, services and processes
Responsible for final acceptance testing of all products
Exercise authority to prevent shipment of non-conforming products
Responsible for implementing the internal audit program for the Kirkbymoorside location, including coordination of training of internal auditors, preparing checklist/auditor guides, scheduling, conducting and reporting. Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for gaps identified in audits
Train organisation on documented policy and procedures
Support, develop and implement supplier quality assurance and control processes. Liaise with Supply Chain and provide support as needed on Supplier audits, Supplier performance evaluation KPIs and other aspects
Supervise quality department personnel and manage, train, develop and motivate them to achieve overall quality goals and objectives.
